We stayed at La Sirena Hotel and ate at the restaurant everyday. It was absolutely splendid! The service was excellent - kind, helpful, friendly and fun. Our local baker Francesco was such an amazing guy and incredible at his craft. Delicious smells every morning wafting up into our room. Nothing was a problem and the staff were so great. The little clothing boutique has lovely quality clothing. I bought two bikinis ! The location is simply epic and everyone in town were fantastic people. If you looking for rustic - off the beaten track relaxing time then this is your place. We would recommend this island, town and stay without hesitation.

If you want an authentic Sicilian fishing village vibe with delicious food, this is your place. We have spent many summer on the Aeolian islands and travel extensively between the seven islands and La Sirena is without doubt our favourite. Wonderful simple Sicilian food, often with a creative twist on traditional recipes that feature the freshest seasonal ingredients paired with an impressive wine selection. We love it.

We had an amazing stay at the Pensione Ristorante La Sirena. We already visited the place for the 3rd time and as always we really enjoyed the 4 nights stay. The 4 rooms available are small but charming and clean. Waking up with that view is amazing. The restaurant is something we are always looking for when we visit the aeolian islands: The food is simply great! Last but not least the team in the hotel and restaurant is super friendly, helpful and they really know what they do. Even if the atmosphere is relaxed one can see that most of the staff has experience in gastronomy. We especially like the spirit of the young team. Many thanks to Alberto and his team - we are looking forward to visit you again soon!

Definitely the best food and service in the island. Excellent ingredients, young set-up and vibe, exquisite menu choice that changes every day. The prices are average for the island (fairly high end), but the view, the quality and the service make up for the cost. We have been 3 times when in Filicudi!

Seaside location with bright and colourful decor. One of the only places still open when we were in Filliculdi during October. Very high quality and fresh food. Pastas and fish were incredible. Particularly, the spaghetti con le mandorle and ventresca di tonno in carpione. They make their own artisanal bread that is delicious served warm. Open lunch and dinner. Kitchen opens 8pm, but a great spot for an aperitivo beforehand. Prices are on the slightly higher side. Very kind and personable staff. The laid back and casual dining experience paired perfectly with the charmingly sleepy town of Filliculdi. Highly recommend.

Definitely a restaurant worth to try if you’re in the Island! We were greeted by a wave of kindness, the atmosphere is simply beautiful and the place in its location was just perfect! We’ve been here for dinner and breakfast, I would say we ate the best fish ever, highly recommended the “Frittura Mista” They also have rooms available if you are looking for a stay. 100 out of 10

We ate here for lunch on our boat trip from Salina to Filicudi and Alocudi. It's a no nonsense place on the edge of the beach. It's busy and reservations are recommended. Seafood is excellent including the crudi and the fritto misto. One of their special dishes is tuna sausage ie salsiccia di tonno. It's slightly more expensive than the other islands but not much more. My photos seem to have disappeared.
